Process
Clear stages, written deliverables, visible progress
We work in defined stages so founders and product teams always know what is in scope, what ships next, and how we communicate.
- 01
Discovery
Align on the problem, users, constraints, and what “done” means for the first release.
- Problem brief and success criteria
- Assumptions and open questions
- Recommended approach
- 02
Scope
Freeze a realistic MVP or delivery slice with clear inclusions and postponements.
- Scoped backlog
- Timeline and communication cadence
- Technical architecture outline
- 03
Design & Build
Design key flows and implement in short cycles with visible progress.
- Working increments in staging
- Decision log for material changes
- Async updates suitable for time-zone differences
- 04
Launch
Ship to stores or production with a practical checklist—not a surprise go-live.
- Release checklist
- Store or production deployment support
- Handoff notes and credentials inventory
- 05
Iteration
Prioritize the next improvements based on real usage and operational needs.
- Post-launch backlog
- Maintenance or iteration plan options
- Clear ownership for ongoing work
Async communication across time zones
Universoft is based in Korea (KST). We communicate in English for project work and structure updates so clients in other time zones can review progress without needing constant live meetings.
Typical cadence: written weekly status, staging links when builds are ready, and scheduled calls when decisions need real-time discussion. We do not claim round-the-clock staffing or overseas offices we do not operate.
Prefer email or async docs for most updates; use calls for kickoff, scope freeze, and launch readiness. Response windows are agreed during discovery so expectations stay explicit.
